ShuHui and I thought of having an outing on sunday (14 Sept 08).
We thought of minds cafe or settlers for some board gaming session initially.
However, I thought of E2MAX to bring you all there.
We can play wii, you how addictive wii is!
They got a series of games there for us to play.
Like guitar hero,
YOU HAVE A GUITAR LOOKALIKE to play ok/
and WII SPORTS,
bowling, boxing, tennis etc.
and mariokart,
where we can race etcetc.
and the tv there is HUGE!
DAMN SHIOK I TELL YOU!
And we could play boardgames there too!
It will be an enclosed long room, where we can have lots of fun!

Cos the in charge is my ex-colleague!
So maybe i can ask for discounts.

heyo! how has everyone been so far. (: haha really not active le this blog but i shall blog still anyway! any idea what to do for this yrs investiture anniversary? lols how about going to run for MILK or its called MILK RUN which means ( Mainly I Love Kids!) haha. well time everyone get on their feets and do some exercise.. haha. atleast for me i need!! wahaha. anyway. its on the 6th of july and the distances is 4.8km and army guys no kick rite?! haha

well its just a suggestion. those who wanna go can start signing up with wong shu yun! lols.

oh anyway.. look. my friend took this picture with his superbly good 5mp camera in his hp! haha anyway tts beside the point. When i saw this picture.. the only thing that came to mind was how much we went thru as a council.. notice how the dark the clouds are at the side? sometimes i feel that my life is just so bleak.. with all the assignment pouring in and ________ grp members who dont do their work properly.. haha but like the sun rays, the thought of u guys just brighten the surrounding a little.

Its true and undeniable that everywhere i go, every grp that i work with, i will never find another team like u guys. I miss the times we had. Even as i look back, i just felt as though i can taste, smell and feel all the emotions that we ever shared together as a council.

Hi 25th, this is val blogging. As u guys already know abt what happen to jannah, i am really sad and affected abt it. I am really praying with all i have for her recovery. and thru this incident(unfortunately), i could really see how closely knitted our council is, and for all to rally beside Jannah when we know about what happend.

The endless calls and eagerness to want to know what happen and if she's alright put a feeling of comfort and warmth in me to see how our lives are inter-connected with one another. However i dont wish for this to only happen when smthg happend to one of us (Choy!, touch wood). Let us continue to be with and meet up to fellowship, as and when we can avail ourselves,even during the simplest outg like just eatg dinner. let this blog be a point where we update and find out how each other are doing and coping and let it also be a place where we share our happenings and our downs.

I just want to tell u guys tt i love u all v much and pls stay healthy and strong, most imptly to take good care of urselves okay! (:
Also, pls do visit jannah at ur own times okay. She's under morphine so try to keep it short and sweet! dont be an auntie like me hor! take care

i have a piece of bad news to share
remember the nice old ahma who went ard in sch collecting cardboards and cans?
she was admitted to hospital yesterday due to an accident in school
apparently a male student knock her down while playing soccer and the ahma fell on her head
and lost a lot of blood
it was ALL AN ACCIDENT
but the condition of the ahma is critical
she is in the ICU at NUH
i will be following up on her condition and prays that she will get well
kindness do begets kindness ritex?

do u all wan to visit her?
heard from juniors that her condition is quite bad at the moment :(

life is so unpredictable isnt it? :(

Hey guys, 1st time arh 1st time i submit any post at all sia this blog is glorified liao :)

Neways, its been more than a year le ba... since we all knew each other n stuff... now our term ended le, all must start studying le.. jz hope that after all these as in after we graduate, for guys go thru NS le, for gals go thru wadeva le... thru Uni or wadeva, working life, dating n getting married, after having family le, we wld still get in touch b 2gether.... in life nothing last 4eva but in attempt 2 make it forever we can achieve something close 2 forever.. at least forever in context to our lives. Sounds mathematical but nothing is infinity but things can tend 2 infinity.. let us make our frenship and wadeva else lend to infinity ba....

Today, a sunday, i had many things 2 do but i rather daydream instead and something struck me... i found out that our studying life was coming to end very very soon... soon most of us won't be facing books and teachers, transparencies and projected slides, sit in classrooms or lecture halls, do homework or not do it and get away with it, take exams that most of us dread, eat in a canteen while talking crap with everyone who's wearing the same attire as you (or sth close to tt), go home and msn people who you can see the following day in sch everyday, msg people who r actually onli a few meters away frm u, teasing people and matchmaking cute couples, break school rules and try 2 run away but somehow still get caught, doing different things all the time though we think its the same, bitch bout people who r jz a few feet away frm you, many many other stuff lah cant name all of them somemore different people wld experience and feel different things but yah all this are coming 2 an end liao

Most people when they were young, wished that time wld go faster and they can come outta the studying life and then go out 2 work so they can do anything they like... i almost felt the same but now that i think about it... i wished i never grow up and live life as a student and meet wonderful people like u guys and actually its onli this studying yrs where we really get to do wad we relli like. Agree? My point ultimately is that our studying life gonna end le.. wad we r gonna do in future very much lies in the present so guys cherish what amount of time we can use 4 muggin and mug to the fullest, not onli do u get 2 get gd grades but oso u can fully appreciate the remaining time left as a student.. Work hard, smart and happily peeps.. not onli 4 the A lvls.... but in everything you do...

Working happily is ironic cz really... hw do u ever work happily? But i feel its not the material and superficial happiness that one gets frm working... its the experiences u go thru and the acheivements that outcome frm the effort that has been put in.. the people u meet as a result of the work... the sometimes once in a lifetime or dumb things that has to be done to get it done... All this brings about a form of happiness.. When you think bout all that you've been through thr wld b a sudden warmth in your heart and you dunno y... its that kinda happiness...

I mentioned 'sometimes once in a lifetime'... actually everything is once in a lifetime... nothing can b done over n over again with the same feelings and thoughts... You guys are oso a once in a lifetime experience 4 me and i'm glad to have known you guys... all the 'torture' we've gone thru together was once in a lifetime... all the fun we have had was oso once in a lifetime.. all the tears and smiles and sweat and blood were all once in a lifetime... all the bitching all the backstabbing all the frenship all the consoling all the listening to each other all the heart tot heart talks...

i guess all of us mean differently to every single one of the others. we didnt had a great start as a council, but yet, we had a GREAT ending.. isnt that something we should rejoice for even more?

indeed the journey as 25th was not easy.. bumps and humps were everywhere.. the times we segregated to our own coms and unite more as that than a council, when we had internal com conflicts, when we had pitted against one another.. ultimately to where we now are--united as a council.. F-I-N-A-L-L-Y

i guess to me, i sorta regret that we only had this kind of a good relationship only when i term was nearing to an end.. how i wished, that it was much earlier.. but than again.. without those unhappy times.. we would never have such fun and many stuff to look back and laugh at.

though our journey has already ended.. but we're still one jj counil---the 25th sc.. we shall have more reunions should we? but definitely after A's.. i am really really glad that i have know all of u.. it has been a pleasure for sure.. to know each and everyone of u.. but i hope to know u guys again once more.. in a new light.. for eg. ben has changed.. and many of us like the ben now.. who is such a LAMER!

these are things that i remember about our 362 days of council term (ts 362 right? did i miscount? anyway nevermind the number of days...)

-esther and chingting
remember during ogl camp by the shadows?? during jj nite.. i was trying the mic... i asked esther to try testing it... when she start talking i off the volume so that no sound come out.. but when im the one trying it, the sound was so loud and clear.. i let esther try again but then i off the volume again... she cant figure out why the mike just off when she tried and not when im the one trying it... her puzzled face was very cute hahaz... in the end i pity her and tell her i off purposely off the mike when she test it... not long after that chingting come and its her turn... same thing happened, its just that now when ching tested it the mike was off but when i asked esther to test it, i turned it on again.. till a few times and she still havnt realised it haha... another cute puzzled face shown... (im still laughing when i type this hahaz...)

remember when i asked you to accompany me get some something at the changing room behind the hall... the when the door closed, i told her " Oh no... this door cant be opened from inside..." then she asked "can you call someone to help us open the door? coz i don't bring mine.." , i told her "i also didnt bring my fone.." then her face changed.. she's like super shocked and its written clearly on her face "oh no its the end of the world!!!" haha... until i opened the door happily and said " hey lets move i think the rest waiting for us already, i was just joking just now, dont worry..."... :P lolx...

we ignore each other for 6 month just because of one thing that i said on january hahaz.. but she gave up after 4 months of our cold war.. but i still stay cool until recently i decided to talk with her again hahaz... not so funny but nevermind :p...

the first time the three of us can go play together.. something bad happen at bugis hahaz.. i lost my beloved N6670 haha... sorry if i only remeber this but actually because of this event i know how much care and attention the two of you have given to me... :) and wx was my buddy too!! he help me borrow cheng joo's fone too that time!! hahaz thx alot buddy.. benji was also my gundam seed mate hahaz.. we share similar interest on this field :) (gundam seed rox!!)

well...
time really flies...
before we knew..
we've stepped down le..
before we realised...
its been a week not doing morning duty le..
and before we can feel it...

one and a half years ago, i made the decision to join council.
it wasnt a hasty decision, but i had many times during my term asked myself if this is the life i wanted.
i believe that many councillors, at different points of time, had felt the same way i did.
but the good thing is, none of us gave up.

one of the reasons i joined council is to dance on stage as an SCDC member.
i had my wish fufilled.
but not every councillors were as lucky as i were.
some failed to fufilled their dreams.
but i think we all reached our common goal, which is to unite as a council and go beyond colleagues.

we really did.
we are more than friends.
we are more than council mates.
we are more than a bunch of people who slack together in the rft and munch like nobody's business.
we are more than a bunch of beach-goers who frequent palawan.
we are more than a bunch of cleaners who cleans canvas sheets under the rain.
we are more than a bunch of hungry people barbequeing under the rain.
we are more than a bunch of students who climbed over the gate at night in order to get out of the school.

we are none more than a bunch of fools who couldn't bear to leave each other and go our seperate ways and that's why we are sticking together everyday in order to surpress the pain that cuts deep into our hearts.

i never once regretted joining council. for it was where i found my special thing.

There once lived a team, called the JJ 25th Students' Council.

They were different from other teams.
Most teams sought after victory, but this special team cared more about the team members, and the bonds between these people.
Instead of being overly caught up with being the best, they were more concerned about the close friendships that were created.

They brought the term "team" to a different level.
As much as they wanted to be one of the best, they knew deep inside that whatever the outcome was, it did not matter.
The things that mattered more were effort, process, and most of all, the people in the team.

During their term, they stayed back in school till really late hours to finish up their projects.
Admin compiling attendance lists.
Logistics checking stock.
SCDC and Games would accompany them.
SCDC painting banners.
Game trying out their games.
Admin and logistics would accompany them.
The college was more or less their second or third home.

Even when things weren't so intense, they still spent most of their time together. Most of their free time in between breaks were spent moving from one table to another, visiting their dear council mates.
After school hours, they usually met up first before deciding where to head.

They've even cried together.
When they were scolded.
When they finished their projects.
They felt for one another.

After working, they always pigged out.
They would spend an hour or so chatting and eating their food storage in the council room.
Most of the time, the sky would be dark by the time they left college.
This wasn't a rare sight.

During their term, they had to travel by bus very often.
What have they done on bus rides?
Many things.
Sing.
Sleep.
Pigging out!

There's practically nothing they haven't done before.

It was also a very common practice for them to take photos at different places they visited.

However, they've done way more than just finishing up the projects together.

For one, they've ever stayed up till 3AM in the morning in college to make a kaleidoscope of their dream!

They loved spending time with each other.

Another thing they loved was surprising one another.

But actually, deep down inside, they loved being surprised by others even more!

Because of this "surprising" nature of theirs, birthdays were usually big things within the team.
They hardly went by birthdays without surprises.

They also spent a lot of time in each others' houses, doing nonsense. As I mentioned earlier, they enjoyed each others' companies.

One thing they loved was... Taking nice team photos!

They didn't even mind stopping in the middle of anything to take a team shot.

BUT. They loved taking stupid photos even more!!

Those were the days...

But like they always say, all good things must come to an end.
Likewise, their 1 year as councillor is over.

It was a pity their 1 years as councillors wasn't happy throughout.
There were times when they had conflicts among themsleves.
But I guess that its unavoidable.
Now that its over and it was great they ended off well.

Now that it is over, and I think all of them have moved on - leaving council for good,they will move on.

It will take a long time for most of them to adapt.
Some of them have already gotten over the fact that their council days are over, and they've come to love their current lives.
But inside, I'm pretty sure they still miss JJ 25th Students' Council and Council's life.

Well, I guess it's not that bad...

They will still take group photos at different events that their juniors would invite them to.

And still surprise each other on birthdays.

They will still meet up for meals.

And nice chats.

And they will still... take unglam photos.

They will also have occasional meet-ups in houses in their tee shirts and shorts.

And though they're not a councillor anymore,
I'm very sure the team spirit will live on.

This is one team that has come a long long way - from a struggling council elects team to a strong team with passion and love for one another.

This is one team that will never falter.

That's the JJ 25th Students' Council for you =)
